Sarah Strup Herbert, Director, Government Relations & PAC

Sarah Strup Herbert serves as Manager of Government Affairs at Capitol Decisions Inc. where she supports the funding and policy priorities of the firm’s clients. Her primary responsibilities include event planning, report compilations, development of proposal materials, legislative research, planning, and project implementation.

Prior to her arrival at CDI, Ms. Herbert was an intern and Staff Assistant for Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., the Ranking Member on the Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee and on the Commerce, Justice, and Science Appropriations Subcommittee.

Ms. Herbert is a 2009 graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a minor in Political Science. She is a native of the Washington, D.C., area.
